FAQ

Who are you?

We are loud.domains. We help connect brands, entrepreneurs and individuals with premium domain names.

I'm interested in one of your domains. How can I contact you?

Reach out any time at hello@loud.domains.

I'm in the market for a domain but don't have a specific name in mind. Can you help?

Possibly! Email us at hello@loud.domains with (a) what you're looking for and (b) your budget. We will do our best to help.

How does the purchase process work?

The first step is to open a dialog by emailing us at hello@loud.domains.

If we're able to reach a deal, we will send you a customized checkout link via GoDaddy. Once checkout is complete, GoDaddy will work with us to transfer the domain into your account.

Funds will only be released to us after GoDaddy has confirmed that you're in possession of the domain.

How long does the domain transfer take?

It varies based on a number of factors, some of which are out of our control. That said, we aim to process transfers as quickly as possible, and the majority are completed within 24 hours.

Do you offer other checkout options besides GoDaddy?

Yes, we offer a number of checkout/escrow options.

Our top priority is to ensure that you're comfortable and confident in the process, and we find that many customers are most comfortable transacting through GoDaddy due to their brand equity.

That said, we do offer other options (e.g. escrow.com) and are happy to provide them upon request.

Do you offer payment plans (LTO's) ?

Yes, we're able to offer lease-to-own (LTO) transactions through several of our checkout partners.

How do LTO's work?

As part of the negotiation, we will agree to a total price, a lease term and, in some cases, a down payment. We prefer lease terms in the 6-12 month range, though we're open to longer terms in the right circumstances.

During the lease term, the escrow partner (e.g. GoDaddy) will take possession of the domain. You will make monthly payments to the escrow partner and will be able to use the domain as normal (e.g. to host a website, email, etc.).

If at some point you stop making payments, the domain will be returned to us by the escrow partner. If you make all of the payments, you will own the domain at the end of the lease term.

I still have questions.
